Plant Biology First: Why Every Indoor Decision Starts Inside the Plant

An indoor environment can be measured with sensors, but the plant does not experience the room as a dashboard. Roots absorb water and mineral ions, leaves exchange gases, and vascular tissues connect both ends of the system.
One hydraulic system
When evaporative demand rises around the leaves, roots must supply more water. If the root zone is cold, oxygen-poor or damaged, the visible symptom may appear above ground even though the original limitation is below it.
Read responses, not isolated numbers
Light, temperature and humidity matter because they alter biological processes. Measurements become useful when they help explain what the plant is doing, not when they are treated as targets detached from physiology.
